देखु सखि! झूमत आवत श्याम।
गति मदमत्त गयन्द लजावत, मनभावत ब्रजबाम।
झुकि झुकि झोंके खाति चन्द्रिका, झुकी ग्रीव दिशि बाम।
मुख अवति पुनि पुनि लटकारी, घुँघरारी अभिराम।
मुरली मधुर बजाय बुलावत, लै लै सखियन नाम।
लखि ‘कृपालु’ अनुपम छवि लाजत, कोटि कोटि शत काम॥

A gopi points out to a friend, “Look sakhi! here comes Shyamsunder.”
He is stealing the hearts of all gopis with His walk that puts
even the walk of an intoxicated elephant to shame.
Due to His body’s swaying movements, the crest of His crown is
moving to and fro, and His neck is tilting slightly to the left.
The curly black ringlets of His hair keep moving forward as if to
behold His beautiful face.
He is playing sweetly on His flute, calling out to the gopis by
name with its melodious notes.
Says Shree ‘Kripalu’ “His unmatched beauty is
putting the beauty of millions of Kamdevas (celestial god of good looks) to
shame.”
