tana mana dhana una para vārī My beloved is Shree Krishna, who performs sweet pastimes in the groves of Vrindavan. I sacrifice my body, mind, and wealth upon him.
mero prāṇa prāṇa banavārī, viharata nita saṅga bihārī Shree Krishna is the life of my life. I always accompany him, participating in his eternal pastimes.
ve vrindāvipina bihārī,
hvai gai unatei mama yārī I have fallen in love with Shree Krishna, who roams in the dense forests of Vrindavan.
lie madhura bhāva ura dhārī,
kiye yāra nikuṅja bihārī Cherishing the most intimate loving sentiment in my heart,
I have accepted Shree Krishna as my beloved.
hamarihuñ sudhi lo banavārī,
ririyāta patita banavārī O Shree Krishna! Please take care of me.
This fallen soul is calling out to you, crying desperately.
mana sunata na neku hamārī,
tuma sunu ‘kṛipālu’ banavārī Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “O merciful Shree Krishna! My mind does not listen to me at all.
chaakar hama piya pyari ke Shree Radha and Shree Krishna are my Supreme Lords.
I am the humble servant of the divine couple.
guru seva hi dharma hamaro,
daas na hama shruti chaari ke My only duty is to serve my Guru selflessly.
I am not a slave to the rites and rituals prescribed by the four Vedas.
chaha ihai, kachhu chaha na raha ura,
daaas na mukti bicahri ke It is my only desire that no desire should remain in my heart, not even the desire for liberation.
sukhi rahaun sevata nita sukha mahan,
pyari aru banavari ke I will remain happy, eternally serving Shree Radha and Shree Krishna for their happiness.
mahakaalaun kanpata thara thara,
dara te jina giridhari ke The Supreme Lord Giridhari (Shree Krishna), who makes even Yamraj (god of death)
tremble with fear …
soi kanpata thara thara santi te,
braja yashuda se naari ke He himself trembles, looking at the thin stick in Mother Yashoda’s hand.
nahi manyo aparadha pootanahin,
garala pivavana vari ke O Shree Krishna! You are so merciful that you overlooked the sins of the
demoness Pootna, who nursed you with poisoned milk …
dai ‘kripalu’ nija loka matu sama,
ko patatara banavari ke And gave her permanent residence in your divine abode,as if she is your mother. Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “O Shree Krishna! Who can match your gracious and merciful nature?”
hamaro dhana, radhey ju ko naam Radha Rani’s name is our only wealth.
radhey naama prataapa shyama bhaye, rasikana me saranaama It is the glory of Shree Radha’s name that has made the Supreme God Shree Krishna famous as the crown jewel of rasiks.
radhey naama siddha kari murali,
taanana mohyo baama Shree Krishna imbued the charm of the name ‘Radhey’ in his flute and thus captivated the hearts of all the gopis of Braj by its melodious tune.
radhey naama kripa te dvaapar,
raas rachyo brajadhama It is by the grace of Radha Rani’s name that Shree Krishna performed the divine ‘Maharaas’ pastime in Braj, in the age of Dwapar.
radhey naama sunata hi bhaajat,
hari adhira tehi thaama As soon as Shree Krishna hears the name “Radhey”,
he impatiently runs to that place at once.
radhey naama rakaar bina raha,
shyamahu aadhe shyam Without the ‘Ra’ of ‘Radhey’, ‘Radhey-Shyam’ becomes ‘Adhey-Shyam’ (half of Shyam). That is, Shyam is left incomplete without Radhey.
karu ‘kripalu’ radhey radhey ki,
ratana aathon yaama Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “O mind! Considering the greatness of the name ‘Radhey’, chant it at every moment of every day.”
Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj gave a constant stream of four day, fifteen day, one month and even four month akhanda (non-stop) sankirtan programs of this famous Mahamantra in order to propogate the bhakti of Shree Krishna to the people of the world.
hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare hare krishna hare krishnakrishna krishnahare hare
dayamaya! aba to daya karo O merciful Lord! At least now, please have mercy on me.
bani akaran-karun jaani nija,
avaguna chita na dharo Considering your causelessly merciful nature, please pay no attention to my faults.
hama ayana mana-budhi-ateeta puni,
tuma aru jana tumharo We are ignorant, whereas you and your saints are beyond the reach of our material mind and intellect.
yate santan kahyo na maanata,
ura abhiman kharo For that reason and because our heart is filled with pride and ego, we refuse to accept the advice of your saints.
sunyo kaan abhiman asana tava,
puni kahe ju daro I have heard from your rasik saints that you eat away pride with great ease. Then why are you afraid of my pride?
dehu ‘kripaluhi’ charana kamala rati,
jaat tritaap jaro Says
Shree Kripalu “O Lord! I have been burning in this fire of the three
sorrows. Now please bless me with selfless love for your lotus feet.”
asa rasa mahan, mohi sadguru bori My Guru has drowned me in the nectar of divine love.
dharma artha aru kaam moksha rasa,
sabai lagata mo phiko ri So sweet is this nectar that compared to it, the combined nectar of ‘dharm’ (righteousness), ‘arth’ (wealth), ‘kaam’ (material pleasure) and ‘moksh’ (liberation) appears utterly tasteless to me.
kahan laun kaha baikuntha lokahun,
ruchi nahin tuka sapanehun mori What to say more, even the nectar of Vaikunth does not attract me, not even in my dreams.
Ika bhavata chanchala nandanandana,
ika vrishabhanulali bhori My mind is now attracted only to two: the mischievous Krishna, and the innocent Radha Rani.
girija aja jaladhija durlabha,
piyata raasa rasa braja khori Now I drink the nectar of ‘Raas’ in the lanes of Braj, which is denied even to Shivani, Brahmani, and Mahalakshmi.
kaha ‘kripalu’ asa sadguru rina te,
orina na koti kalpa ko ri
Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “It is impossible to pay the debt of such a Guru even in countless lives.”
hamāro aiso hai rakhavāra Such is my Spiritual Master, my divine protector ... jaiso hai nahiṅ sakala viśhva mahañ, kou samaratha sarakāra that there is no one in the entire world who is as strong or capable. tīni loka anuchara raha jina ko, vidhi hari hara karatāra Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar are the governors of the three worlds. sou anuchara śhrī mahāviṣhṇu kahañ, jo kamala bharatāra But they themselves are in the service of Mahavishnu, the husband of Mahalakshmi. sou śhrī mahāviṣhṇu anuchara jina, tina kaha nandakumār Mahavishnu, in turn, is said to be the servitor of Shree Krishna. sou ‘kṛipālu’ anuchara jina soi guru, kaha bhāgavata pukāra Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “That Supreme God Shree Krishna is the servitor of the Guru, such is the declaration of the Bhagavat Mahapuran.”
kahañ harī! soye hamarihiṅ bāra O Hari! Where are you sleeping, when it comes my turn to receive grace?
patita pukār sunata hī dhāvata,
neku na lāvata bāra Hearing the call of a fallen soul, you come running and take no time to reach him.
kāraṇa rahita kṛipālu sadā te,
jānata tohiṅ saṅsāra The entire world knows you to be causelessly-merciful by nature.
kaisehuñ patita śharaṇa ṭuka āye,
rākhata charaṇa majhāra When a soul surrenders to you, no matter how fallen and sinful he may be, you always grant him the shelter of your lotus feet.
‘patitana hī soṅ pyāra karata nita’,
asa kaha santa pukāra “You always love the fallen souls.” This has been declared by your Saints.
puni ati patita ‘kṛipālu’ pekhi kata,
ura niṣhṭhuratā dhāra Says
Shree ‘Kripalu’, “Where will you find anyone more fallen than me?
Knowing me to be the most fallen, why have you become so hard-hearted?”
Shyam haun, kaba braja basihaun jaaya O my Beloved Shyam! When will I live in the holy land of Braj forever?
Shyama Shyam naama guna gaavata, kaba nainana jhari laaya When will my eyes overflow with tears of love, while singing the glories of the names and virtues of Radha Krishna?
kaba vicharaun gahavara vana veethina, radhey radhey gaaya When will I wander the wooded paths of the Gahavar forest, crying and singing ‘Radhey Radhey’?
kaba jhumata vrindavan-kunjani, phiraun hiye hulasaaya When will I dance in the groves of Vrindavan, with my heart full of love for you?
kaba lapataya latana goverdhan, kahaun haaya piya haaya Embracing the creepers of Govardhan, when will I call out with an intense feeling of separation, “O my Beloved Krishna! Where are you?”
kaba lotata ‘kripalu’ braja raja bicha, haun jaihaun bauraaya Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “When will that day come - when, rolling in the dust of Braj, I will become delirious in your love?”
The supreme divine nectar of Braj Ras is showering down everywhere in
Braj, but gyanis (who practice the path of knowledge) are wandering around
aimlessly, without any knowledge about this.
jehi khojata gyani
jana lakhana
The Impersonal Supreme Brahm, whom the millions of gyanis search for...
charihu vedana
ki pratishakhana
in every branch of the four Vedas ...
hari 'alakha'
imi lage bhakhana
and at the end, accepting their defeat, declare that he is imperceptible
...
vrinda vipina
sakhina anchala pata,
lipata rahyo soi
dhaya
In the dense forests of Braj, that same Brahm is found running after the
gopis and embracing their ‘anchal’ (upper end of the sari) to get their love.
jehi shankara
ura-antara dhyavata
That Supreme Lord, whom Lord Shiv always meditates upon in his heart,
jako bheda veda
nahin pavata
Whom even the Vedas could not understand,
nirvikalpa,
nirlepa, batavata
Whom they define as Absolute and Unattached,
soi nikunja
bicha bhanulali ke,
charana palotata
jaya
The same Supreme Lord can be seen gently massaging the lotus feet of
Radha Rani with love and adoration in the inner groves of Vrindavan.
jehi mayavasa
vishva charachara
That Supreme Brahm, whose external potency Maya controls the animate and
the inanimate of the universe,
brahmanda-nayaka
vidhi, hari hara
And makes the governors of the universe, Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar...
nachata jyon nata
paravasha banara
dance under its control like a monkey under the control of its
master,
tehi dai chhachha
neku si chhorina,
kotina nacha
nachaya
In Braj, that same Brahm, the almighty lord of Maya, is made to dance
innumerable times by the young gopis just for a handful of buttermilk.
jaki bhrikuti-vilasa
pralayakara
That Brahm, who can destroy the entire universe simply by a slight crease
of his eyebrows,
jake dara kapata
dara, thara thara
And out of whose fear, Fear itself trembles with fear,
namahi jako
bhava bandhana-hara
And whose name itself possesses the power to destroy the unbreakable
bonds of Maya
tako ukhala badhi
yashoda, lai sati darapaya
In Braj, that same Almighty Brahm is seen tied up to a mortar wheel by
his mother Yashoda who is causing him to tremble with fear merely by holding a
little stick in her hand.
jehi lagi japi
tapi, bharamavata
That Supreme Brahm, for whom millions of aspirants wander, practicing
severe austerities and chanting on beads,
yogi yoga agini
jari javata
And great ascetics burn themselves in the yogic fire,
nija bala kripa
kora nahin pavata
They fail to receive even a speck of his grace, as they are trying to
attain him by relying on their own strength
so 'kripalu' nija
maya goda hita,
paryo dharani
bilakhaya
Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “That same supreme, unattainable, imperceptible
Brahm of the gyanis, is rolling on the ground and crying bitterly for mother
Yashoda to take him into her lap.”
When Radha Rani rides on her palanquin, the Supreme Lord
Shree Krishna himself walks ahead of it, clearing the path, and alerting people
that her highness, the Queen of Barsana is coming.
Lakhi
‘kripalu’ bali jata kahata jaya, jayati jayati maharani
Says Shree ‘Kripalu’, “Watching this divinely wonderful
scene, I sacrifice my all and glorify my Queen Radha again and again.”
